Over 40 world-renowned master artisans spend over 6-weeks hand-carving approximately 6,000 blocks of ice to create this one-of-a-kind Christmas attraction! With over 17,000-square-foot and 9 immersive scenes, here's a peek at some of our favorite scenes you won't want to miss!-
Glide & Slide
Plunge down one of 6 ice slides, including one specially-sized for kids, while surrounded by a larger-than-life ice sculpture of Frosty the Snowman. -
ICE! Carver Showcase
While experiencing the arctic artistry inside ICE!, visitors can see the magic come to life in the Carver's Showcase, as a master artisan creates ice sculptures in live demonstrations. Ice carving is a way of life for many in Harbin, China - so much, in fact, that it is known as "Ice City" and is home to the world's largest annual snow and ice carving festival. -
O Holy Night Nativity Scene
The ICE! experience concludes in a separate area dedicated to a Nativity scene, meticulously carved and shaped into a dramatic display of crystal-clear ice.

Gaylord Opryland's ‘ICE' And Locomotive 576
As a way to serve the community in a special way, STARS volunteered to help restore Locomotive # 576, which was on display for decades in Centennial Park until 2019. The steam engine is ironically the same type of locomotive as in The Polar Express™️ movie and theme of this year's ICE! The locomotive completion date is tentatively in 2025 when it will become a new Nashville attraction with passenger excursions. WKRN (ABC Nashville) reported about the STARS community service and tie to ICE!.
